RESORT ENTRY FEES

MtBuller-Resort-Entry

Our wonderful snow resorts are a very special part of the world – did you know that the alpine areas take up just 0.01% of the whole of Australia? This means they require plenty of care, and the land managers of the snow resorts do a wonderful job of ensuring the natural environment is taken care of, essential services are maintained and the villages are ready to welcome you when you visit. In order to help contribute to this hard work, visitors are required to pay an entry fee when they arrive – this is a government levy that is directed straight into resort services.

All of the Victorian alpine resorts (aside from Dinner Plain) will require you to pay your entry fee, as well as transport from car parks to the village if you are staying overnight. Visit the website of your chosen resort for fees and to pre-pay (sometimes you’ll even save money or be able to skip the queue when you arrive).

Tip: the early bird gets the worm! It is always best to arrive as early as you can, to avoid peak arrival times (particularly on weekends) and to ensure you get the most out of your day. Also, make sure you prepay your resort entry fee to save time and money – visit the snow resort websites to purchase before you visit.
