With some of Victoria’s most spectacular alpine scenery, Falls Creek offers a huge area to explore for all kinds of visitors to the snow. Beginner skiers are perfectly catered for with the famous ‘Wombat’s Ramble’ offering the longest beginner run in Australia - you’ll be perfecting your turns in no time!

Falls Creek Village is the ideal alpine town, offering a wide array of accommodation options for all budgets, plenty of places to dine and lots to experience when you’re not out enjoying the ski slopes - check out the kids entertainment with Pete the Snow Dragon, take the kids snow tubing or for a ride on the mini snowmobiles. When the sun goes down, enjoy the night show every Thursday in July and August, complete with fireworks show and music.

BURTON RIGLET SNOWBOARD PARK

Burton Riglets is a snowboard program for children ages 3-5 years. The purpose-built environment of the Burton Riglet Park is magic, safe and fun and offers a great way to introduce younger kids to the thrill of snowboarding.

NIGHT SKIING

Experience Australia’s longest beginner run under lights with night Skiing on Wombats Ramble every Wednesday and Saturday night. Wombats Ramble is Australia’s longest green run, measuring a whopping 2.2kms long, and with lights along the entire length you can keep practising your skiing and boarding long after the sun goes down.

PETE THE SNOW DRAGON

A favourite of many small visitors to Falls Creek, keep your eyes peeled for Pete the Snow Dragon! Pete can often be seen skiing his favourite runs, visiting the Snow Club 4 Kids and regularly at the Night Show Spectacular on Thursdays in July and August.
